Testing and analysis Overview
The Sunshine Coast Regional Council has proposed a water quality study to be conducted at various sites along Coochin Creek. The study compares Coochin Creek water quality data collected in 2014 and data from the 1999-2001 Caboolture Region Water Quality Study by the Queensland Environmental Protection Agency.
On August 13th, 2014 a team of 5 students and 2 teachers collected water data from 7 sites along Coochin Creek. Water samples were tested on site, at the lab and at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Dissolved Oxygen (DO) was tested on site using a titration method, and all results were recorded. A group of other students also collected data on temperature, conductivity, turbidity, pH, nitrates, phosphates

- On-site Dissolved oxygen test sample
- USC lab sample
- 6 day BOD sample
- Experimental Lab testing
